Halfway done the Ravenclaw scarf.
It’s already huge, to me. I think it might eat me when it’s finished…
The colors are much more true in this picture. Better camera + better lighting (I have an Ott-Light on my desk) == good stuff.
Here’s some pictures as proof:

Yes, I am a sheep. Baaah.
Ravenclaw scarf, PoA style, movie colors. Yeah, I know. Pattern here.
Details: Knitpicks Merino Style, on size 5 needles.

I finished these last week. Opal Brasil 5001 on size 1 needles. I adore these!
I know, it’s late…
1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand? Or is it all the same to you?
Yes, I am. I can’t stand acrylic. *shudder*

I’d like to learn to spin. Crochet makes me mental, though.
3. Do you have any allergies? (smoke, pets, fibers, perfume, etc.)
Heavy perfumes give me headaches.
4. How long have you been knitting?
On and off for about five years. Combined, maybe a year’s worth of actual knitting.
5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
Yes, I do http://amazon.com/gp/registry/293HUWNFG2VS3

Vanilla
7. Do you have a sweet tooth?
Definitely.

10. What’s your favorite color? Or–do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can’t stand?
My very favorite is a deep purple. Also black. I’m not fond of orange/reds.
11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
Married, no kids, four cats.
12. What are your life dreams? (really stretching it here, I know)
To get my house organized so I have tons of time to knit.
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?

Always socks, since I can knit them in class.
18. What do you think about ponchos?
I’m sure they’re nice and warm and useful and all, but I don’t get it. Even if my husband points out that Luke Skywalker wore one.
19. Do you prefer straight or circular needles?
DPNS! But of the two listed, circs.

29. Any patterns you have been coveting, but haven’t bought for one reason or another??
I’d like to do the Charlotte’s Web shawl, but I never get around to buying the pattern.
Yes, it’s been awhile. But now midterms and such are over with.
Whew.
I have pictures of knitting to share when I find the cable for my camera. All socks, of course. I have permission from both my professors to knit during class, which helps me concentrate immensely, due to my ADD. Socks are the perfect project, since everyone wants them, they’re portable, and I could do them in my sleep, at this point. And I’ll finally have a second pair for myself, in a week or so.
And, for now, I think I’m going to go lie down and contemplate marrying a box of Goody’s Headache Powders…
