Filed Under (Life, Row Counter, Socks) by Tina

It’s 5am, and for once, I’m okay with still being awake. I think it’s because I’m listening to Mike try to persuade Mini-Kitty over to be petted. She seems to be warming up to us more when we’re not in bed, and it makes me want to cry. I don’t know if it’s just her loosing her fear, or if it’s more that it’s incredibly sweet to hear your husband refer to the kitty as “sweetie” and “baby” and mean it. I have to love the man.

I probably make no sense, hmm? Insomniac week. Finals next week. Doesn’t make for a great state of mind. Even if I found out today that I currently have a 94 in calculus.

So I’ve been working on the Row Counter project. It’s gotten to a point where I’m reasonably happy with it. There are some problems, but I’m learning a lot about Java. Some of it may even be on my final exam. *grin* It’s a good review, if nothing else.

Also, Mike and I saw The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe tonight. Amazing. They did this one right. Thanks, guys. For handling my treasured childhood memories properly and reminding me of what I’d forgotten.

It was worth driving home at 3am in the snow/sleet/freezing rain. It really was. And I even knit half the leg of a sock while I was there. I would have knit more, but I kept getting caught up in the movie. No bad thing!

Thanks again for the beautiful yarn! I love working with it.
Hubbie and I saw The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe yesterday afternoon and I was so impressed with all of the CGI. There were like 800 little catholic kids there from school (in their little outfits) so I couldn’t really hear everything in the movie, but at least I got to see all the pretty scenery!
